Die Bekämpfung von Armut ist ein zentrales sozialpolitisches Ziel. Aber wann gilt jemand als arm? Dazu sind verschiedene Definitionen in Gebrauch. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts „Ungleichheit der Einkommen und Vermögen in der Schweiz“ verglichen das BFH-Zentrum Soziale Sicherheit und die Universität Bern wie sich zwei gängige Berechnungsansätze auf die Höhe der Armutsquote auswirken. Eine interaktive Grafik zeigt die Unterschiede für den Kanton Bern.
