For the small lake Lobsigensee (Swiss Plateau) the local pollen assemblage zones L 3 to L 11 covering the Late-Würm period are described according to the percentage diagram (fig.l and tab.2). The comparison between pollen percentages and pollen concentrations corroborates the results published for the Western Swiss Plateau by GAILLARD (1981). Eight out of ten radiocarbon dates provide a chronology that is about parallel to the Central European one but shifted towards greater ages (fig.2, carbonates ingyttja?). Average pollen-influx was calculated for the local pollen assemblage zones (fig.4). Comparing concentrations and influx no diverging development was found. Average influx values conf irm the reforestation of the area by tree-birches during the Bölling. There is no evidence of a climatic deterioration between Bölling and Alleröd. The only lateglacial climatic recession recorded at Lobsigensee was the Younger Dryas.
