Debrot, Anik; Brodbeck, Jeannette; Berger, Thomas; Znoj, Hansjörg; Pomini, Valentino (5 September 2017). LIVIA-FR: A French adaptation of an online therapeutic intervention for adults having difficulties to deal with their romantic partner’s loss (Unpublished). In: 15th Swiss Psychological Society (SPS SGP SSP) conference - "Treasuring the diversity of psychology". Lausanne, Switzerland. 04.09.-05.09.2017.

Losing one’s romantic partner is a uniquely stressful event and is often associated with poor psychological and physical health outcomes. Some people show major difficulties in coping with this event that can lead to mental disorders. Online therapies have flourished over the last years and have been shown to be similarly effective to face-to-face therapies for a variety of disorders, including complicated grief. However, no program is available in French. Hence, within the NCCR LIVES SNF project, we will adapt and implement an online intervention for people having difficulties dealing with their romantic partner’s loss, that was developed in German at the University of Bern. This poster aims to present the theoretical background and methodological design of this project.
