Central dislocations of the femoral head are commonly associated with acetabular fractures allowing intrapelvic displacement of the femoral head. Usually, these injuries required open reduction internal fixation. Fracture fixation should provide absolute stability while preserving blood supply to soft tissues and bone facilitating early and safe mobilization. In this chapter, techniques of reduction and reconstruction of these injuries are discussed.
