Search for heavy neutral Higgs bosons produced in associationwithb-quarks and decaying intob-quarks atffiffisp=13TeVwith the ATLAS detectorG. Aadetal.*(ATLAS Collaboration)(Received 8 July 2019; revised 28 May 2020; accepted 24 July 2020; published 13 August 2020)A search for heavy neutral Higgs bosons produced in association with one or twob-quarks anddecaying tob-quark pairs is presented using27.8fb−1offfiffiffisp¼13TeV proton-proton collision datarecorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during 2015 and 2016. No evidence of asignal is found. Upper limits on the heavy neutral Higgs boson production cross section times its branchingratio tob ̄bare set, ranging from 4.0 to 0.6 pb at 95% confidence level over a Higgs boson mass range of450 to 1400 GeV. Results are interpreted within the two-Higgs-doublet model and the minimalsupersymmetric Standard Model.
