(Request a copy)Eine lokale, intraperitoneale Verabreichung von Chemotherapeutika ist ein naheliegendes Therapiekonzept des Ovarialkarzinomes, welches in der Mehrzahl der Patientinnen in einem fortgeschrittenen, peritoneal metastasierten Stadium (FIGO III/IV) diagnostiziert wird. Die hyperthermische intrapertioneale Chemotherapie (HIPEC) hat sich – trotz erster positiver Resultate hinsichtlich eines längeren Gesamtüberlebens [1] – aufgrund der höheren Morbidität und begrenzten Langzeit-Daten aktuell noch nicht als Standard in der Behandlung des Ovarialkarzinomes durchgesetzt.
