Der Professor für Wirtschaftspolitik an der Universität Bern war federführend in den Empfehlungen, die schliesslich in die neuen «Too big to fail»-Vorgaben mündeten. Aymo Brunetti leitete die entsprechende Expertengruppe. Im Interview verteidigt er das Ergebnis als «international führend», gesteht aber auch ein, dass es ein «harter Kompromiss» sei, waren Vertreter der Grossbanken doch ebenfalls Teil der Expertengruppe.
