Ober, Maya; Schneider, Nicole (10 September 2020). Hybridity as a Culture of Making (Unpublished). In: International Conference of Creativity and Innovation in Design. Barreira Arte + Diseño Center in Valencia, Spain. 10 –11.09.2019.

Under the topic “Hybridity as a culture of making”, their lecture explores what new approaches towards design education can be applied to foster a contextually based practice within a post-industrial context, using an experimental design course directed at industrial design undergraduate students as a study case. Understanding design as a fundamental trait of being human and a key factor influencing the quality of life they argue for design education informed by both practical and theoretical research to encourage cultural hybridity.
