In this paper, we focused on Queer masculinities as an integral part of potential activism and change. Through conducting a content analysis of three contemporary Lebanese movies, we analyzed the construction of queer masculine identities. Our paper showed how the films contributes to deconstruct the hegemonic Arabic masculinity, while generating new queer realities, meanings, and embodiments. Our focus on cinema aimed at contributing to contemporary discussions on forms of artivism in the MENA region.
