In this blog post I presented the results of a research held in the archives of the Istituto per l’Oriente Carlo Alfonso Nallino during a teaching project financed by the Claussen Simon Foundation. During the trip we tried to understand more about the field of Middle Eastern Studies in Europe in the 80s, and which role the Euro-Arab cooperation played during those years.
