content: Ethical, legal, and social challenges as well as research integrity issues are closely connected to Open Science. Awareness and identification of ethical issues, support for the integration of research ethics and integrity are the structural components of Open Science.
Open Science aims to promote transparency and reusability of research outputs and knowledge transfer. During the workshop, we will touch on the following topics:
• Ethics key principles and best practices
• Ethical responsibilities
• Ethics and integrity perspective in Open Science
• Ethical sharing of research data and research outputs
• Ethical data exchange
• Data transfer and use agreement (DTA)
• Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Learning outcome: Participants are aware of the code of ethics and ethical responsibility as well as how to share, transfer, and exchange research data and research outputs ethically according to best practices in Open Science.
