The Research Fund was established in 2012 by the Swiss Lung Association in cooperation with the Swiss Respiratory Society and the Swiss Paediatric Respiratory Society.
We seek to support research in the broad field of lung health as well as lung diseases and respiratory disorders. With this contribution we aim to help detecting and treating pulmonary diseases more effectively. Since our first call in 2013 we have awarded yearly research grants and are proud of being the supporter of a variety of innovative research projects. Since 2017 we also award an annual prize for the best publication in the field of clinical and respiratory research.
