In this special dossier different authors look at the concept of minority in relation to Islamic law. The special dossier includes articles on how Muslim jurists deal with non-muslim minorities, at how Muslim jurists addressed the issue of Muslims living in non-Muslim countries, at how Muslim jurists deal with sexual minorities, and at minorities as actors ‘producing’ law in Islamicate contexts.
