The climate crisis calls for a change of our behavior. It also calls religions to mobilize their resources to fuel the change. I argue that we need not only Church statements or academic papers, but also and especially our worship – prayers, songs, and sermons – to contribute. In this paper, I focus on the semantic and rhetorical strategies of an intercession as a central part of a climate-liturgy and ask whether it would be appropriate.
