Full text not available from this repository.In this paper the author delineates the most important aspects of diagnosing and understanding various functional medical disorders. Thereby the differentiation to psychiatric morbidity should be included, and the patient should become assessed very skillfully. For these reasons, the interview, which includes biological, psychic and somatic aspects, will be able to extend understanding of such patients. Also some important therapeutic aspects are given.
