Students from schools inclusive of children with hearing impairment often face conflicts, in which personal interests interfere with concerns regarding inclusion. In the present study we investigated, whether judgments and behavioral decisions about inclusion of peers with hearing impairment differ by situation, grade and behavioral attitude. 212 students (grade 3, 5, 7) from classes inclusive of a child with hearing impairment responded to scenarios, in which a protagonist has to decide between the inclusion of a child with or without hearing impairment. The majority evaluated the inclusion of the child with hearing impairment in situations as right, in which only the child with disability could be chosen. However, when the protagonist could choose between a child with or without hearing impairment only half of the students expected the inclusion of the child with hearing impairment. Moreover the inclusion decisions varied as a function of context, grade and behavioral attitude.
