Creative presentations and dance have been ascribed the potential to develop personality. Under adequate circumstances both facilitate an expressive ability with respect to creativity, rhythm and self-perception. In the frame of a quasi-experimental interventional study at the elementary school level, the authors investigated the effects of a six-week instructional unit on the students’ creative dancing competence as well as their self-concepts of dance related abilities. Thereby they focused on the significance of the feedback quality. The data support that the creative dancing competence as well as the self-concept of dance related ability positively develop through individual and precise feedback.
